    2013年，全区人口和计划生育（简称人口计生）工作以稳定低生育水平为目标，不断转变工作方法，强化服务意识，积极落实统筹解决人口问题各项措施，完成人口计生工作各项指标。全区人口出生率8.65‰，自然增长率3.92‰；出生人口男女性别比为104∶100，处于合理范围内；符合政策生育率达到99.1%，晚婚率为96.61%，晚育率为95.25%，继续保持较高水平。
