    为改善进村路交通环境，提升农村公路路面状况，方便群众出行，4月26日，区交通局组织农村进村路改造工程公开招投标，确定施工单位为威海鸿远公路工程有限公司，监理单位为山东格瑞特监理咨询有限公司。原计划改造5条3.8公里，实际改造7条4.7公里，主要集中在嵩山街道办事处，总投资320余万元；同月27日开工建设，6月末全部建成通车。
