    2013年，全区有81家企业纳税过千万元，其中6家企业纳税超过亿元。全年兑现鼓励企业发展专项资金4593万元，在企业技改扩张、自主创新、品牌建设、节能减排等方面给予重点扶持，促进企业不断做大做强。紧盯上级政策和资金投向，发挥部门合力，坚持主动出击，加大专项资金争取力度，共争取国家和省、市扶持资金7多亿元，有效弥补本级资金的不足。加强与金融部门的沟通协调，筹措资金12.7亿元，顺利推进301省道改建工程、西城科技产业园、市政园林等重点项目建设。
