    2013年5月，威海市政府批准成立嵩山街道办事处。同年12月，山东省政府批准撤销孙家疃镇，以其原行政区域设立孙家疃街道办事处。2013年年末，环翠区辖张村、羊亭、温泉3个镇，竹岛、鲸园、环翠楼、嵩山、孙家疃5个街道办事处，计81个村民委员会、99个居民委员会。
