肥城煤田位于肥城市北部康汇平原。1958年，国家投资建矿开采。至2007年，境内共有煤炭企业5家，生产矿井11对，年设计生产能力590万吨。肥城矿业集团有限责任公司、聚源矿业集团有限公司、隆源煤矿集团有限公司3家企业，总资产101.4亿元，原煤年产量1035.7万吨，销售收入77.9亿元。
