    1993年以来，镇党委政府把发展北部山区林果业为富民强镇的实事之一。到
1997年，果树培优面积扩大到660公顷，全镇干鲜果总产570万公斤，与上年同比
增长31%和133%。 其中，优质苹果总产482万公斤。收入860万元. 果农人均增收
660元，荣获山东省林业厅“名特优苹果金奖”和肥城市果品培优金奖。
