   1988年，按照统计部门的要求，规范统计口径，村以下个体办的种养业不在统计范围
，农业企业已不再是乡镇企业的主体。到1990年，全县乡镇农业企业269处，从业人
员4270人，完成总产值1890万元。
    1991～2000年，多数集体性质的农业企业改制为个体私营企业，至2002年，全部改制
为个体私营企业。全市有农业企业145处，从业人员2900人，完成总产值4.6亿元。较
大规模的企业有泰西种业、拾屯奶牛场、老城奶牛场。
