    1988年以来， 乡党委、政府集中力量，加快了交通建设步伐。5年来，全乡
共铺柏油路30公里， 投资170万元。同时境内增设了县、市内营运点，开办了加
油站。泰东(泰安至东平)公路贯穿全境，东与104国道相连，西与济兖公路相通。
还修筑了4条乡间公路， 境内基本上形成村村通柏油路的交通网络。
    邮电通信事业迅速发展. 1992年新建邮局1处，邮路总长120公里，投递线路
总长120公里，通邮范围达100%。邮电业务总量5万元.
