    1998年，县邮政局有汽车4辆，其中五十铃汽车和昌河面包汽车各一辆，用于邮运生产和特快专递揽收、投递。解款车2辆，用于支局储蓄和汇兑业务的敛送款。有微机47台（套），其中邮政一台清微机20台（套），储蓄用微机25台（套），报刊发行用微机2台。新增ATM自动取款机1台，支局电子秤共有22台。2001年，为适应业务发展需要，储蓄用微机全部更新，联入了全国大网；是年底，县邮政局电子汇兑中心开通，新增电子汇兑用微机2台（套）。2002年，新增邮运车1辆；2003年，新增生产用车2辆，其中物流配送专用车1辆，解款车1辆。
