1986～1993年， 全镇经济快速发展。 到1993年，  全镇实现社会总产值
33654万元，国民收入30986万元，工农业总产值28091万元，比1986年分别增
长321%、334%、372%。此三项指标人均占有分别达到6258元、4842元、5224
元。财政收入、工农业总产值等主要经济指标均名列全县前茅。1993年，成
为市、县经济强镇。
