1993年初，银山镇着手大搞镇驻地小城镇建设，到年底已初具规模。共
拆迁旧房1000余间，新建楼房40余幢，修建下水道2000余米，拓宽硬化了城
区“220”国道，其他公共设施亦全面铺开。农村建设也有新的进展，1993年
全镇已有9个行政村实行新村规划，有1750户农民新建砖混结构标准房8750间，
基本改变了农村面貌。
