　　1987年11月，县林业局设置林政科，履行林业行政执法、法规宣传、依法管理等职能。1988年起，每年3月为全县林业法规宣传月，县电视台开辟专题节目，分工县长发表电视讲话，在县城重要街道开展咨询活动等。1995年起，加大重大林木案件的查处力度，至2002年共处结案件70多起，结案率95%。“三证”（采伐证、运输证、木材经营加工许可证）管理得到加强，2002年全县“三证”办理率在95%以上。
