农业保险具有灾害面积大，范围广、受灾时间集中的特点。承保全区能繁母猪、育肥猪、奶牛、林木保险等政策性保险，收取保费407万元，赔款609万元，减灾减损作用明显，实现财政补贴资金投入的最大效应。创新开展牛奶价格指数保险，收取养殖户保费67万元，到期支付牛奶价格指数保险赔款267.5万元，起到避免奶贱伤农，平衡了市场运行。
