2016年，区中小企业局有工作人员16人，其中，参照公务员管理13人，事业编3人。围绕小微企业转型升级、产业集群做大做强、搞好四大平台服务开展工作。全区有个体工商户3.32万户，同比增长19%，注册资金27.56亿元，同比增长46.16%。私营企业达到8034家，同比增长28.75%；注册资金46.86亿元，同比增长38.11%；民营经济中小微企业完成税金22.01亿元，同比增长12.4%。
