    1985年9月，成立区爱国卫生运动委员会办公室，为一级全额事业单位，与卫生局合署办公。1989年11月分设立，为一级行政单位，隶属区政府。1993年10月，与卫生局合并。1998年8月，改为一级全额事业单位，编制5人；2002年5月分设。内设办公室、督查科、宣教科3个科室。2007年，有工作人员8名。
