    在九龙岗南崖，一峰如巨笋自山谷豁然拔起，直插云霭，宛如巨烛，故名天烛峰。峰端横生怪松，俯临万丈深渊。其东又有一峰，雄伟高大，名“大天烛峰”。两峰对峙，古称大小牛心石，形如双凤，蔚为壮观。
