    位于泰山北麓，经北天门石坊转向东行，过避尘桥、乱石沟即至。传为碧霞元君炼丹处，亦说吕洞宾曾在此修道炼丹，故名。清代洞口曾有吕祖庙，民国年间毁，现有平地约半亩。洞内广阔，洞顶滴水，冬结玉柱洁白透明，堪称奇观。洞内有石床，偏左有一石孔可通洞顶。
