    1985年，镇驻地设省庄卫生院，各村均有卫生室。卫生技术人员105名。1992年，镇卫生院晋升为一级甲等医院。1994年，恢复农村合作医疗。是年，8077人参加合作医疗。1998年，省庄卫生院达到爱婴医院标准。2000年，全镇有卫生院1处、农村卫生室35处，床位115张，医护人员115名。参加合作医疗者25280人，占镇总人口的42.9%。
