    1989年11月，区政府办公室成立信息科。是年创办《政务信息》。1990年9月，成立督查科。1992年创办《政务督查》。1996年4月，成立信息督查工作室。信息督查实行每季度通报制度。至2000年底，共在全区机关、企事业发展信息网员单位166个，信息员400余人。印发信息3362期，600条信息被山东省政府办公厅信息处和泰安市政府信息科采用。
