      泰山区建立后，改革财政体制，培植、扩大税源，强化资金管理，合理安排支出，财政收入年递增速度18.14%。至2000年，地方财政收入达到16966万元，为1985年的14.4倍；支出20353万元，为1985年的20.1倍。
    1985～2000年，全区地方财政总收入91933万元，其中税收73591万元，占地方财政总收入的80%；总支出119604万元，其中用于科教文卫支出37790万元，占总支出的31.60%。
