    1985年，境内有公路68.6公里，其中区乡公路14.7公里。有货车639辆，载重量2221吨位，年货运量52.3万吨，周转量2391.5万吨公里，形成以城区、乡镇为中心的辐射网。2000年，公路通车里程203.82公里，其中全封闭公路25.7公里，一级公路6.52公里、二级公路68.61公里、三级公路90.17公里、四级公路12.82公里；高级路面58.3公里、次高级路面137.87公里、中级路面7.65公里。县道3条，乡道18条。区、乡（镇）、村实现晴雨通车。交通运输工具3963辆，旅客周转量10931万人公里，货物周转量10261万吨公里。
