    1982年11月，邹县开始进行农业资源调查和农业区划工作。全县组织50人的区划专业队伍，培训区划人员250人。在对全县气候、土地、水利、生物等资源情况调查清楚的基础上，认真进行专题研究和综合分析。至1983年11月，完成阶段性农业区划工作。1985年6月，经济宁市政府组织市直有关部门、院校和科研单位的专家、教授、科技人员验收合格。按农业生产的地域分异规律，将全县划分为5个农业区。
