    1980年11月，成立邹县司法局，下设公证处、法律顾问处2个副科级单位。至1982年底，全县共有专兼职调解人员3544人。1983年5月，邹县司法局内部增设人秘股、宣传股、调解股。至1992年，邹城市司法局共有工作人员32人，下辖23个法律服务站（亦称司法所）。
