    1973年，邹县城关公社北关大队从微山县引进标准水貂100只，其中母貂80只，公貂20只，在县城公园路东首路北办起养貂厂，开始饲养繁殖标准水貂。
    养貂厂年产标准水貂仔400～500只、成活率为70%，年均宰杀标准水貂200～250只，每张貂皮售价200～400元不等。至1990年，养貂厂停办。
    1987年至1992年，邹城市也有部分农户饲养标准水貂，多是零星养殖，饲养量大都在10只以下。
