    邹城市城区在境内西部偏北，地处鲁西平原和鲁中南低山丘陵的交界处，地理坐标为东经117°，北纬35°25′。北依岗山、铁山，南靠因利渠、大沙河，京沪铁路从城中穿过。历来是邹城市政治、经济、交通和文化教育中心，现为中共邹城市市委、市人民政府机关驻地。
