    1973年3月，县政府设立三废(工业废水、废碴、废气)治理办公室，同年7月改为环境保护办公室。1989年5月，列为局级建制，改为环境保护局，下设办公室、政工科、环境监测站、环境管理科、收费监理科。1993年机构改革后，设收费科，管理科、办公室3个行政科室，辖环境监测站1个事业单位，至1995年未变。
