人口498982人，非农业人口126136人；男性319330人，女性305788人。有15个民族，
除汉族外，少数民族中主要有回族、满族、蒙古族、苗族、朝鲜族、壮族、俄罗斯族
等。汉族占人口的99.7％；回族多集中在西关。
