    建国前，津浦铁路境内路段收发货物及接送旅客的主要车站为姚村、吴村两火车
站，年客流量不过二三万人次，货物吞吐能力不足万吨。

      50年代末，两站年货物收发量均在10万吨以上，年客流量五六万人次以上，以
后逐年增长。1966年始，由于曲阜至兖州公路状况改善，客、货多由兖州转运，故两
站运输量增长缓慢。1990年，货物吞吐量为9.5万吨，接送旅客6.6万人次。

      兖石铁路境内路段，1986年1月10日开始客运，1月16日开始货运营业，当年客
运发送量7853人次， 货运吞吐量3.78万吨。1990年客运发送量13400人次，货物吞吐
量增至152万吨。
