    梁山县境内居民多系汉族，部分少数民族也使用汉语，在人民生活和社会交往中，以汉语普通话为主，但由于受地方风土和传统文化习俗的影响，仍保留着相当数量的方言。梁山地处鲁西南，属汉语官话方言的中原官话，山东方言的西区西鲁片，除具有本区方言的共同特点外，还有一些比较特殊的语音、词汇、语法现象。
