    中耕除草，境内最早用“铲”，以后随着农业生产的发展，逐渐以锄取代。1956年，境内出现耘锄，畜力牵引，能进行除草、松土、起垄等多种作业，当时很受欢迎。后因密植，耘锄不适宜，随之被淘汰。中耕机，是拖拉机牵引的锄草、松土机具，70年代引进，在部分单位试用，现已停用。目前，境内中耕除草、松土间苗仍以锄头为主。
