    泗水县地形复杂，岩石出露为寒武系、奥陶系、石炭系灰岩、太古界花岗片麻等变质岩。成土母质系残积。坡积、洪积、冲积物。在气候、母质、岩性、生物、地形的影响下，泗水县土壤为棕壤与褐土的过渡地带，主要分布着棕壤、褐士、潮土。
