    新中国成立后，国家禁止金、银在市场流通，任何单位和个人不准自行买卖，更不得走私贩运。金银只能由国家银行统一经营。在收兑中，银行除严格执行国家牌价外，并认真鉴别真伪及成色质量，做到买卖公平。县内无金银矿开采和冶炼工业，银行收购的金银多为金银制品和金银铸币等。
