    1974年前，县内无车辆审检专业机构，审检业务由公路管理站兼管。1974年设交通监理站后，车辆审检由监理站负责。审检分初检、年度检、临检3种形式。机动车领取行驶牌证时，凭单位介绍信、购车证明，随车到监理站审检。经审检证件、车辆机械性能合格后，发给行驶证。每年1月1日至9月底为全县审检期。审检项目：车辆的转向、制动、灯光、音响、主挂车牢固程度、防护装置及各部位机械性能等。
