    新生幼儿园是全省较早出现的私立幼儿园之一。1985年3月由次邱乡西温口农民井庆莲（女）创办。园址在城内公园路南首路西，租赁民房9间，占地0.5亩，井庆莲自任园长，聘保育员2人，均为初中文化程度。始招3～6岁儿童2班32名。1987年增至90名。是年5月选拔19名幼儿组成电子琴班。
