    全县轻度侵蚀性水土流失面积144.22平方公里，占耕地面积的6.2%。其中东北丘陵区占98%，对丰产影响较大。经多年来封山育林、砌堤堰、造梯田、固沙封土，已初步治理42.3平方公里。但效果不理想，水土仍大量流失。汶上大部属平原地带，丘陵区山丘荒草地仅225.2亩。其余土地多垦为农田或人工林，自然植被残存无几，且多系田间杂草和水生性植被。
