    1928年5月，北洋军阀、五省联军总司令孙传芳部来嘉祥暂驻。
    1930年，国民革命军冯玉祥部进驻嘉祥。
    1946年10月21日，国民党新五军一部占领嘉祥县城。至1947年1月1日，晋冀鲁豫军区第三纵队一部攻克嘉祥县城，新五军溃逃。
