    嘉祥县从1990年4月起，推行农村宅基地有偿使用制度。至是年底，全县有310个行政村基本完成了宅基地有偿使用工作，登记造册146874户，收使用费150760元。有216户自觉拆除旧房600多间；有8925户退出、腾出宅基地382.5亩；有1640户撤回宅基地申请书。
