    清末传入。1913年，在县城西门外路北建耶酥堂，传教士系德国人。内设女子初等小学校1处。
    建国初，基督教人员76人。其后，公开活动一度中断。1978年始，其活动趋于公开。1979年，教徒192人。1987年，金乡县基督教“三自”爱国运动委员会、金乡县基督教协会成立。1990年，教徒9764人，其中，长老2人，35岁以下者16.8%，初中文化程度以上者7.5%。教务活动会聚点154处。
