    1946年，国民党县政府民政科设卫生股，管理县内卫生工作。
    1950年1月，金乡县人民政府建立卫生科。1958年，卫生科更名卫生局。1967年4月，金乡县革命委员会下设文卫办公室，管理卫生工作。1968年5月，卫生行政工作由县革命委员会内务组管理。1970年12月，恢复卫生局至今。
