    1913年（民国二年），设审检所。次年撤销，改由县知事兼理。1928年设检察官1人。
    1951年，建立金乡县人民检察署。1955年1月，改称金乡县人民检察院。1956年4月，鱼台县检察院并入，1964年11月析出。“文化大革命”期间被撤销，1978年，恢复金乡县人民检察院。1990年，院设刑事检察一科、二科、法纪检察科、经济检察科、监所检察科、申诉检察科、政工科和办公室。
