    1930年，三民主义青年团（简称三青团）开始在金乡活动。1945年，划归巨野分团，称金乡区队。1946年10月，三青团金乡分团建立，杨树堂任书记，设总务、组训、宣传三股，下设区队，区队下设分队，遍布金乡县境，团员822名。
    三青团向青年灌输反动思想，培养其成为反共反人民的骨干分子。1947年冬，三青团金乡分团并入国民党县党部，三青团员集体转为国民党员。
