    1935年《金乡县志》稿载，水产种类有鲤（一名红鱼）、鲂（一名缩项鳊）、　、鲫、鳜（俗名季花鱼）、鲡鲴、鲇、鲢、鲦、鳝、鳅及虾、蟹、蛤、螺、蚌、蛙、龟、鳖。建国初期，全县鱼类有8目15科39属47种。1983年，渔业调查统计，有鱼类31种。
