    鱼台县地震多为外地震中所波及。公元前566(春秋襄公七年)～1990年，见诸记载波及鱼台的地震38次，其中造成灾害的2次。1668年(康熙七年)郯城～莒县的8.5级地震使鱼台县署倾倒，城垛倒坏1000余个，城墙坍塌50余米，草房倒塌4600余间，楼房倒塌200余座，砸死人140余名。1937年8月1日，菏泽发生7.1级地震波及鱼台，民房倒塌420余间。
