    1981年，县成立军队干部退休安置办公室，配有专职管理服务人员1名，小型客车1辆，负责接收、安置鱼台籍军队离、退休干部。至1990年底，共接收安置军队离、退干部24人，其中集中安置13人，分散安置11人。对集中安置的，为其投资40万元，建公房1361平方米，附属配套工程205平方米；对分散安置的，发给建房费，下拨木材指标48立方米，钢材39吨，水泥180吨，妥善解决了他们的住房问题。
