    1981年前，鱼台县仅有中国民主同盟(以下简称“民盟”)盟员1人，属民盟济宁市支部。1981年，民盟盟员在鱼台一中发展到4人，遂建立民盟鱼台小组，范心中任组长。1989年，发展至13人，成立了民盟鱼台支部。
    民盟支部定期召集盟员过组织生活，履行《盟章》规定的基本任务。1990年，鱼台盟员中有济宁市人大代表1人，济宁市政协委员2人，鱼台县人大代表1人，鱼台县政协常委、委员4人，县公安局监督联络员1人，县监察局特邀监察员1人。
