    新中国建立后，每逢新年、春节、“五一”劳动节、“五四”青年节、“六一”儿童节、“七一”建党节、“八一”建军节、“十一”国庆节，乡镇、县城都要举行文娱晚会、电影晚会。文娱晚会演出的节目有：唱歌、舞蹈、小型戏剧、曲艺等。演员多为业余，自编自演。1990年，全县共举办文娱晚会210多场次。
