    微山县技工学校  1988年5月，县决定设立微山县技工学校。校址选在夏镇东，薛微公路南，104国道东，占地面积69.7亩。11月，动工兴建校舍，设计建筑面积5730平方米。
    县技工学校，招收微山县城镇户口的初中毕业生。学习期间，每人每月享受助学金15元，3年毕业后，县统一分配。当年，招生150人，分设电工、钳工、车工各1班。
    1990年，发展到13个班，学生635人，分设电工、钳工、车工、井下电钳工4个专业；有教职工75人。
