    1954年4月，济宁县始设计划统计科，负责国民经济计划工作，1955年6月，改称计划统计委员会。1956年9月，计划、统计分置，设计划委员会（以下简称计委），1958年7月撤销。1965年5月，复设计委。1968年5月，县革命委员会生产指挥部设计划统计组，1970年3月，改称计划统计办公室。1979年1月，复设计委。1995年底，任城区计委内设人秘、综合计划、投资基建、信息、国土5个科，设主任1人，副主任3人，共有干部职工14人。
