    境内地势平坦，为古汶河、泗河、黄河、运河冲积平原，形成了岗地、浅平洼地、微斜平地和背河洼地等地貌类型。地势北高南低，东高西低，向西南倾斜。南北比降为1/1300～1/1600，海拔平均高度38米，北部海拔42.8米，低点在城东南石灰窑东部，海拔34.8米。
