    区境内地下煤矿资源丰富，系石碳二迭含煤沉积。由于地处平原，煤田及其周围
均无老地层出露，成为被第四分沉积所覆盖的全隐蔽形。总储量0.65亿吨，埋藏深度
500至850米， 共17层，可采层5层。煤种为气煤，煤质稳定，各层煤种可做炼焦煤、
炼油煤、造气原料，液化原料又可作为动力燃料。
